The transducer is stuck down with thin, double-adhesive tape.  I could have put it more under the bass strings, but that would be getting too close to where the soundboard is secured to the instrument frame.  That didn't seem a good idea.  There is a reason that I have the preamp (at top) with a belt clip.   The knob at the top is a gain/attenuation control for volume to the amplifier.
